Imagine a future when we humans start colonizing neighboring planets like Mars? There will come a time when those living on Mars will become more different than those left behind on planet Earth. Due to the physiological differences of both planets, people living on the "red planet" will evolve into unusual specimens with enormous physical capabilities that would dwarf the superhuman attributes of the finest humans on Earth. How will we fare against them?
Clark Kent is the best example of an extra-terrestrial who has gained superhuman "powers" as his Kryptonian origins gave him a monstrous edge over us. Perhaps, his home planet has a greater gravitational force so that when he reached Earth, he has gained superhuman speed and strength due to a much lower gravitational pull our planet has.
Since Martian gravity is one-third that of Earth then it seems plausible that we will be three times stronger. But human colonists in Jupiter would be ten times stronger than us! Breaking world records in track and field would be a cakewalk from ten-foot-high jumps to 300-pound lifts. Does this mean that we would have a great advantage if Martians attacked us as we will theoretically be the equal of three of them?
Not necessarily because, everything will even out back on Earth but we may have a distinct advantage over them on their planet unless if they develop a gravity equalization device that will render our superhuman advantage to nil!
