Have you ever seen what the iPhone would look like if they came out from the production line 30 years earlier? It would have been weird to see a mobile phone with a physical dial that most our older folks used. Apple never had the chance to build the first smartphone in the 1980's as technology was still far away from ours.

It would be impossible to text and calling someone might have been tedious. Carpal tunnel syndrome cases would spike and we would have deformed thumbs if that's the case. Have you ever remembered the days when you have to remember someone else's number because there is no phonebook display yet? How would they install a small CRT display on the mobile device? I really wonder if this really would have worked.

The rear shell of the phone includes back vents reminiscent of the original Macintosh variety, as well as a large, 9-pin port. I am not sure if rechargeable Lithium battery technology is already available in 1985 but if it did, charging would have been clumsy and dangerous.

  1. Every time I see something about it, I always say something about it. You did a very good job. Keep it up. I created my article CPS Counter based on the information you provided in your last article. The article we have written contains the definition of CPS Examiner as a way to measure the click per second. Calculates how fast you can click at a given time. We are sure you will enjoy reading it. Let me share this with you. Thanks for visiting.
