Man has never been satisfied of his own self and it has always been his nature to be better that everyone else. Civilizations rise and fall because of technological advancement from swords to lasers. The future will be dominated by a new trend, the increasing shift to human hybridization with the advancement of embedded technology. Imagine a world where a bio sensor injected as an implant tracks your movements and vital signs. How about a disposable electrocardiogram machine the size of a Band-Aid that monitors a heart patient. There will no longer be a mobile phone as it will be integrated into your face and all you have to do is call someone through voice control and it will be displayed on high definition display that doubles as your contact lens. Scientists and engineers are trying to develop such embedded devices: miniature electronics that plug people into computer and communication networks.
The problem with embedding technology into our body has always remain - where to get power.
