The Roaring Twenties was an age of optimism wherein many Americans have made their fortune in the aftermath of the Great War that destroyed most of Europe. Big corporations have become bigger and technologies advanced with the advent of the automobile and airplanes. Little did they know that 1929 Wall Street Crash is just around the corner.

True to the common optimism of the time, they look the future as a utopian society populated with wundercrafts and other technological curiosities.

There is nothing permanent in the future but change and so trending fashion styles and latest forms of transformation were expected to be different. Automatically adjustable clothing will be the norm so that it will adapt to any climate and conditions.

Since people then don't have a grasp as to how the world would change, they have a grossly inaccurate view of future cities. They envisioned cities to be dominated by towering, yet harmoniously designed, structures that expressed the highest reaches of man’s technical imagination. This prediction was somewhat fulfilled because it seems today’s cities are indeed feats of engineering, but energy efficiency and harmony are questionable.

Various forms of sea and air transportation were quite interesting. Ships were streamlined for the highest efficiency without compromising its ultra modern features. They believe that airplanes can carry a maximum of 600 passengers and traverse the Pacific in under a day.
